DailyWOW

DailyWOW is about to go through some more improvements to help us provide our daily uplifting to even more people around the world. Our DailyWOW family has grown from 20 members in 1996 to the thousands of you around the world in hundreds of countries.

Over these 13 years DailyWOW messages have touched to hearts of so many people. Many thank you messages back to us have expressed thanks for helping to provide a positive spirit to children who are living in religiously deprived homes, to people in anguish who have been pointed in the right direction with some inspired words and to people who live in countries where Christian beliefs are discouraged. People have told us that they have started going to church and have improved their relationship with God with the help of their daily dose of DailyWOW.

We feel strongly that we should expand how many people in the world benefit from these efforts put forth by our volunteers.

As we begin to coordinate our efforts with other organizations, we will need to create banners, ads and other items that will require us to provide some images and logos. Many of you receiving our DailyWOW messages have great talents that could help benefit our group. Therefore we are giving you an opportunity to participate by holding a little contest. Between now and Monday, May 11th we will be accepting artwork for the contest. We will announce the winners next week and if you have a business creating artwork or logos we will also put a link to your website on the DailyWOW website.

Here are the parameters of the artwork:

We are looking for original artwork, drawings, photos or computer generated images that will help to portray the mission of DailyWOW which is to bring uplifting messages to people every day. The artwork must be royalty free and all rights to use the artwork will be held by DailyWOW. Even though the majority of our quotes are from LDS church leaders, keep in mind that (our best guess) nearly 50% of the DailyWOW list is comprised of people who are not LDS church members. Therefore, church related images (which are usually property of the church anyway) should be avoided in the images.

Some ideas:

Pictures of smiling people/children

Images that depict knowledge, wisdom, prayer, inspiration, thought, motivation, revelation, encouragement, optimism, joy, happiness or positive outlook.

Please submit your images in .jpg or .gif format and email it to denis@dailywow.org. Make sure to put DailyWOW Contest in the subject because I receive over 300 emails a day and I don’t want your entries to slip into my junk mailbox.

You may submit as many images as you wish.

Thanks for all your help and for taking the time to enjoy what many of us have lovingly labored over for many years. It feels so good to know that people are being inspired every day because of what we do.
