May 18, 2012 In all of our service,

Friday, May 18th, 2012

“In all of our service, we need to be sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Ghost. The still, small voice will let us know who needs our help and what we can do to help them.” M. Russell Ballard, Ensign, May 2011

May 17, 2012 The Savior ‘knoweth the weakness of man

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

“The Savior ‘knoweth the weakness of man’ (D&C 62:1). In spite of our weakness, He loves us in an incomprehensible manner and offers us great hope: ‘I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them’ (Ether 12:27).”

L. Lionel Kendrick, Ensign, October 2001

May 16, 2012 However late you think you are

Wednesday, May 16th, 2012

“…However late you think you are, however many chances you think you have missed, however many mistakes you feel you have made or talents you think you don’t have, or however far from home and family and God you feel you have traveled, I testify that you have not traveled beyond the reach of divine love. It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ’s Atonement shines.”

Jeffrey R. Holland, Ensign, May 2012

May 15, 2012 Our Heavenly Father did not launch us….

Tuesday, May 15th, 2012

“Our Heavenly Father did not launch us on our eternal voyage without providing the means whereby we could receive from Him guidance to ensure our safe return. I speak of prayer. I speak too of the whisperings from that still, small voice; and I do not overlook the holy scriptures, which contain the word of the Lord and the words of the prophets—provided to us to help us successfully cross the finish line.”

Thomas S. Monson, Ensign, May 2012

May 14, 2012 If we desire our families to be together forever

Monday, May 14th, 2012

“If we desire our families to be together forever, we begin the process today. Spending time talking with our children is an investment in our eternal family as we walk the path toward eternal life together.”

Rosemary M. Wixom, Ensign, April 2012

May 13, 2012 As in all things, the Savior set the perfect example

Sunday, May 13th, 2012

“As in all things, the Savior set the perfect example in the love He showed for His earthly mother. In the final, most pivotal moment of His mortal life—after the anguish of Gethsemane, the mock trial, the crown of thorns, the heavy cross to which He was brutally nailed—Jesus looked down from the cross and saw His mother, Mary, who had come to be with her Son. His final act of love before He died was to ensure that His mother would be cared for, saying to His disciple, ‘Behold thy mother!’ And from that point on the disciple took her unto his home. As the scriptures say, then Jesus knew that ‘all things were now accomplished,’ and He bowed His head and died (see John 19:27–28, 30).”

May 12, 2012 Much of what we accomplish in the Church

Saturday, May 12th, 2012

“Much of what we accomplish in the Church is due to the selfless service of women. Whether in the Church or in the home, it is a beautiful thing to see the priesthood and the Relief Society work in perfect harmony. Such a relationship is like a well-tuned orchestra, and the resulting symphony inspires all of us.”
Quentin L. Cook, Ensign, May 2011

May 11, 2012 Marriage and family are ordained of God

Friday, May 11th, 2012

“Marriage and family are ordained of God. The family is the most important social unit in time and in eternity. Under God’s great plan of happiness, families can be sealed in temples and be prepared to return to dwell in His holy presence forever. That is eternal life! It fulfills the deepest longings of the human soul—the natural yearning for endless association with beloved members of one’s family.”

Russell M. Nelson, Ensign, May 2012

May 10, 2012 To be married to a righteous woman

Thursday, May 10th, 2012

“To be married to a righteous woman who loves the Lord, loves you, and respects the priesthood is one of the greatest of blessings of life and eternity.”

James E. Faust, Conference Report, April 2007, p. 55

May 9, 2012 Our women are incredible

Wednesday, May 9th, 2012

May 9, 2012
“Our women are not incredible because they have managed to avoid the difficulties of life—quite the opposite. They are incredible because of the way they face the trials of life. Despite the challenges and tests life has to offer—from marriage or lack of marriage, children’s choices, poor health, lack of opportunities, and many other problems—they remain remarkably strong and immovable and true to the faith. Our sisters throughout the Church consistently ‘succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees.’… Though they are not perfect and all face individual struggles, their faith in a loving Father in Heaven and the assurance of the atoning sacrifice of the Savior permeates their lives.”

Quentin L. Cook, Ensign, May 2011
