I’m not sure exactly why but this web site is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later

Sorry I hit the wrong key before I finished.
I could think of several reasons, why we should repent. However I would like to know if you have the rest of the quote. I don’t have time to research it. I want to see the reasons Robert Hales gives and see if they are the same as mine.

I’m a advid reader of the WOW and although my husband found it and used it in first I’m the one who depends on it to give a spiritual lift every day!
The Quote was a very interesting one and makes wonder if there isn’t more I should know about the statement. I could name several more reasons

I believe that there is a good chance that the author of that poem is Rabbi A. Alan Steinbach, who served about 50 years at Temple Ahavath Sholom in Brooklyn, NY. I was a member of that congregation, and he frequently used a slightly different version of this poem as a benediction at the close of services in the 50′s and 60′s.

The differences are “shook my world about,” and the closing two lines were But back came to me the stranger-his lamp was burning fine; He held to me the glowing flame and lighted mine.
